Terms and Conditions

General Terms
By booking services with Sonrisita by Niki Kalogeria (“Sonrisita”), you (“the Client”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. Sonrisita may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance. These terms apply to all bookings, regardless of booking method (online, phone, email, or in person).

Booking & Appointments
Upon a booking. a confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours — please check your spam folder. Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Last-minute bookings are subject to availability. Accurate event details (date, time, location, number of children) must be provided at booking. Changes must be communicated promptly. Sonrisita reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking that violates these terms.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Client Cancellations:

• 7+ days before event: Full refund.
• 3–6 days before event: 50% refund.
• Less than 3 days before event: No refund.
  All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@sonrisita.me.

Business Cancellations:
If Sonrisita cancels due to illness or emergency, you will receive:

• A full refund, or
• A rescheduled date at no cost.
  No liability for any additional costs incurred by the Client.

Rescheduling:
One free reschedule if requested 7+ days before the event. Additional reschedules: CHF 20 admin fee.

Health, Hygiene & Safety
All products are professional-grade, cosmetic-safe, and compliant with EU/FDA standards (equivalent to Swiss requirements). Tools are sanitized between each child. The workspace is kept clean and organized. Face painting will not be performed on children with:

• Skin conditions (eczema, rashes, open wounds)
• Eye infections or contagious illnesses
  The artist may refuse service if safety is compromised. Children must remain still during painting. No liability for smudges due to movement.

1. Allergies & Skin Sensitivity
   Parents/guardians must disclose all known allergies or sensitivities before the session. While products are tested for sensitive skin, Sonrisita cannot guarantee no reaction. No liability for reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies. If a reaction occurs, paint is immediately removed and parents are notified. Monitor your child after the session — seek medical advice if needed.
2. Parental Consent & Supervision
   By allowing face painting, parents/guardians give implied consent. A parent or guardian must be present or reachable during the event. Sonrisita is not responsible for child supervision. Services are for children only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Liability
   Sonrisita holds Public Liability Insurance. Proof available upon request. Not liable for:

• Damage to clothing or personal property
• Reactions from undisclosed allergies
• Injuries caused by unsupervised children
• Delays due to weather, traffic, etc.
  The Client must provide a safe, suitable working environment (lighting, space, shelter).

Conduct & Environment
Sonrisita may stop service and leave if subjected to abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior. No refund in such cases. The Client must ensure children are managed by responsible adults.

Photography & Media
Sonrisita may take photos/videos for portfolio and marketing. No identifiable child images will be used without written consent. To opt out, notify us before the event.

1. Data Protection & Privacy (Swiss DSG)
   We collect your name, email, phone, and event details solely for booking purposes. Your data will never be sold or shared. Stored securely and retained only as long as necessary, in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG). 

You may:

• Access your data
• Request corrections
• Request deletion
• Withdraw consent

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton Zurich.
